I’m a counsellor, and I rent out my counselling room in the heart of Sevenoaks, Kent to counsellors, psychotherapists and clinical psychologists.
The counselling room was newly renovated in May 2024. It has had a new carpet fitted, fresh furnishings and a fresh lick of paint.
Key Features:
- It has been decorated in a thoughtful and neutral way so as not to get in the way of the work we do with our clients.
- The location is in the very centre of Sevenoaks, at the top of the high street.
- It is more spacious and light than most counselling rooms. It is 4 x 3 meters. It has one large sash window and double doors leading on to a balcony.
- It is very quiet and private.
Furnishings:
The room is stocked with tissues, a jug, glasses, mugs and tea and coffee.
There is a fully equipped shared kitchen downstairs that includes a fridge, coffee machine, microwave, kettle and utensils and crockery. There is also a women’s and men’s toilets just down the corridor.
Capacity:
The room is suitable for both individual and couples counselling. It comfortably fits 5 people.

Includes excellent WiFi.

Monday & Friday: 8am – 9pm
Bookable in 3 or 4 hourly blocks.
3 hours = £38
4 hours = £48
Tuesday & Wednesday: 2pm – 9pm

Ad Hoc 50 minute sessions: £13.
For the first month you can book ad hoc whilst you build up your practice, so you don’t have to commit to a 3 or 4 hourly block booking right away.
If you wish to continue ad hoc sessions after this period you will need one block booking of 3 or 4 hours every week.
Payment Terms:
Payment by bank transfer 1 month in advance on the 1st of each month. Ad hoc bookings can be paid for after your booking, and again, due on the 1st.
Community:
I’m starting up a peer community/ supervision network in Sevenoaks for psychodynamic & integrative counsellors and psychotherapists. The aim is for it to be a friendly, supportive but professional community of therapists that we can refer clients to because we really understand how each other works. It is also an opportunity to deepen our clinical work with more insights from others, and to support each other in running a private practice.
